June 19, 2010- Port Community Day

These pictures didn't run in the paper, but I took some really nice shots of the first Port Community Day at Waterfront Memorial Park in Mt. Pleasant.




This band was really awesome. They're called the FreeLoaders and they're from Charleston. They do blues/soul covers of some classic rock songs and it's fantastic.





This is one of my all time favorite pictures I've ever taken. Ever. Something about it just strikes me. Some combination of the boy's expression, the dark clouds behind the bridge. Eeeee! Love it!
